PoCoG, chaired by Professor Phyllis Butow, is one of 13 Clinical Research Groups in Australia, established in response to a recognised need to develop the capacity and co-ordinated collaboration to conduct large-scale, multi-centre psycho-oncology and supportive care research. As part of its efforts to foster collaborations and networks among researchers in psycho-oncology it is developing a directory of psycho-oncology research centres around the world. Once completed, this directory will be available as an interactive feature on the PoCoG website.

It is anticipated that this feature will assist researchers in psycho-oncology to: identify collaborating centres for studies; identify centres for PhD / post-doctoral studies / work experience; identify centres/individuals with expertise in a particular area; and foster collaborations between researcher conducting work in the same area.
